PROTOTYPE

The first full-size BOULDER ELECTRIC VEHICLE ALL Electric Delivery Truck was completed June 1, 2009 and is currently undergoing test evaluations. We anticipate delivery of our first fleet vehicles in early 2010. We spent months on the aerodynamics of our delivery truck, streamlining the flow around the nose as well as the rear. The result is a truck that has 3 very large surfaces that slip right through the air with virtually no drag at all!

Our computer modeling has enabled all components to be made with an eye to lightening the vehicle itself while rapidly accelerating time to market.

Better aerodynamics, lighter materials that consume less energy to manufacture, longer range from a Lithium Ion battery pack, all this means we are building better trucks and cargo vans.

The prototype for the Work Utility Vehicle Cargo Van will be raced in the Progressive Automotive X-Prize in mid 2010.
