Boulder Electric Vehicle is a green tech manufacturing company that makes purpose built ALL Electric Delivery Trucks & ALL Electric Work Utility Vehicles (WUV) or cargo vans. These are designed from the ground up to meet the lightweight aerodynamic & safety needs of ALL Electric Vehicles.

Delivery trucks and cargo vans have extremely large carbon footprints as well as foreign oil consumption. By replacing these vehicles with electric drive technology we reduce our dependency on foreign oil, reduce green house gas emission while creating a cleaner, greener world. We use advanced composite materials to make the delivery trucks and cargo vans lighter as well as more aerodynamic. This streamlines the manufacturing process by using less energy and raw materials, resulting in lower cost to the fleet owners and operators. With the cost of electricity the "fuel" cost to the end user is equivalent to that of a diesel truck or cargo van running on diesel costing $US 2.50 per gallon. Our proprietary Lithium iron Phosphate battery pack design allows for a longer life battery pack, a wider range or operating environments and a modular service procedure. With only 3 fluids in the entire vehicle the maintenance and service costs are greatly reduced.

We plan to be manufacturing electric delivery trucks and electric cargo vans right here in Colorado by 2010. Boulder Electric Vehicle can help keep these jobs from going overseas by partnering with the Department of Energy and other State and Federal programs to replace the aging fleets of fossil fuel consuming vehicles with electric delivery trucks and electric cargo vans.
